Instant images from Peterborough’s wireless DR mobile impress users

Account manager for MIS Healthcare Tony Rogers, principal operational radiographer David Hosking, senior radiographers Charlotte Chester and Jodie Hall, radiographer team lead Irena Glover and service manager for Althea Steve Scott.

As part of a recent upgrade of the emergency department at Peterborough City Hospital, part of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, the team wanted a DR mobile that offered excellent image quality, ease of use, speed and reliability.

As the hospital’s managed service provider, Althea’s implementation and technology team presented available systems.  The trust chose the Samsung GM85 DR mobile solution which was supplied by MIS Healthcare.

Radiographer team lead Irena Glover said: “We are extremely pleased with the mobile, its manoeuvrability and low column height are proving very popular with radiographers, and its versatility when used in resus and on the wards is exceptional.
