Interactive forum offers a micro-learning experience

Foot and ankle surgeon Mr David Lin from Precision Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Cumberland, Maryland, has worked with a team including consultant musculoskeletal radiologist Professor Rajesh Botchu from Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham, UK, to develop a medical education iOS and Android app-based forum to enhance simplicity and engagement in learning.
With the number of smartphone users worldwide continuing to rise, the developers believe 15Blades is an ideal platform to help medical professionals learn and apply the trends and opportunities in the medical community. 15Blades targets surgical speciality and subspeciality segments, including medical students, resident physicians, fellows and fully practising surgeons.
“As medical professionals, we all understand the challenges and demands of staying up to date with the latest advancements in our field,” the developers say. “We introduce 15Blades, a cutting-edge mobile application designed to provide a seamless learning experience while keeping pace with a healthcare professional’s busy schedule.
