Hairmyres Hospital, part of NHS Lanarkshire, has acquired a Philips CX50 ultrasound scanner, integrated with an Allura x-ray system, for use in its vascular interventional suite in the radiology department.
“We are very happy with the ultrasound unit,” said consultant radiologist Dr Lau Pui Fong “It gives good image quality and can be viewed directly from the ultrasound unit monitor, or from the third monitor attached to the C-arm itself. It also comes with a long enough cable so that it can be used on either side of the angio table.”
