IT suppliers join IHE interoperability demonstration

This year’s showcase demonstration on the IHE-UK stand at EHI Live featured seven organisations, including Canon, each playing a role in the scenario that depicted the seamless movement of images, documents and information between organisations.

Canon UK’s arm for the design, maintenance and support of medical IT systems, including Canon PACS and RIS is Intuitive Systems and Networks Limited (ISN).  Chairman Kieran Archer commented: “It was a privilege for Canon / ISN to participate in this prestigious show and play a key part in the interoperability demonstration.  Not only does it show our customers and potential customers that we are confident in our products and solutions to invest and undertake this activity publicly, it enables us to say to those considering us for their PACS and  RIS solutions that Canon products are state-of-the-art in their compliance to appropriate standards and protocols such as IHE, HL7 and Dicom.
