Jersey hospital chooses elastography option

Toshiba Medical Systems ultrasound clinical applications specialist Jane Hanford with consultant radiologist Dr Andrew Borthwick-Clarke.

Toshiba Medical Systems has supplied an Aplio 400 ultrasound system to Le Quesne breast screening unit at the General Hospital in Jersey.  The equipment, with its elastography option, was chosen for its superior image quality.

Designed to adapt as patient workload grows or changes, the Aplio 400 has a software-driven raw data platform so that advanced clinical applications can be added as needed, including expert volume imaging functions and quantification options.
