Description

The Coombe Hospital in Dublin is one of the largest providers of women and newborn healthcare in the Republic of Ireland. We care for up to 10,000 pregnant women every year. In addition, over 1,000 newborns are admitted to the neonatal intensive care centre and over 8,000 adult surgical operations are performed. The hospital provides comprehensive care for women and newborns at local, regional and national levels.

Clinical specialist radiographer (ultrasound)

Role purpose:

Undertake responsibility on a day-to-day basis for the ultrasound (us) department, in women’s health. To lead, guide and supervise sonographers and other staff and to successfully manage the us service, with effective utilisation of all resources allocated. To manage in a rapidly changing environment and be willing to undertake such additional duties within the diagnostic imaging department also, as may be assigned from time to time.
