Gibraltar Health authority
Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory at the southernmost tip of the Iberian Peninsula, easily reached in just over 2 hours (flying time) from London, Bristol or Manchester airports.
The post is based at the St Bernard’s Hospital, located by the waterfront, overlooking the straits of Gibraltar and Northern Africa. The area is perfect for those wishing to explore Southern Spain, Portugal and North Africa. English is the official main language with Spanish widely spoken.
The Gibraltar Health Authority invites applications for the post of radiographer senior II from suitably qualified individuals, who by virtue of their citizenship are entitled to take up employment and who are or upon employment will be resident in Gibraltar.
Applicants must be HCPC registered and hold: -
(i) A BSC (Hons) diagnostic radiography or diploma college radiographers DCR
(ii) A degree or other relevant qualification specifically approved by the health professions council
(iii) Minimum 1 years post qualification experience
(iv) Experience in CT is essential. (Training on our CT scanner will be provided)
The successful applicant would be expected to participate in an on-call rota. On call duties include general radiography and CT.
Economy class flights from UK to Gibraltar return, are reimbursed in full. In addition, a rented accommodation allowance of £350 per month will also be payable solely whilst on a fixed-term contract and upon submission of an official rental agreement.
The above appointment is offered on a fixed-term contract of 11 months.
