John Radcliffe Heart Centre chooses portable system

Complex TTE lead cardiac physiologist Nicky Thornton and senior cardiac physiologist Alet Meiring.

The John Radcliffe Heart Centre has purchased an Esaote MyLab Alpha portable ultrasound scanner after expanding its services.  Complex TTE lead cardiac physiologist Nicky Thornton said: “With the expansion of our heart failure and inherited cardiac conditions service we were looking for a new echo machine and after trialling Esaote’s MyLab Alpha we decided to purchase one.  It is a comfortable, compact and easily portable machine due to its reduced size and weight, simple to use and with great applications support.”
