King George chooses fluoroscopy with integrated ultrasound

Following evaluation of several C-arms, King George Hospital in Ilford has installed an Ultimax-i x-ray fluoroscopy system and integrated Xario 200 ultrasound system from Toshiba Medical Systems.

Senior radiographer Munawer Mirza and radiology resource manager Alita Deterville viewed and evaluated several C-arm systems before choosing the Ultimax.  Deterville explained: “We were both impressed with the versatility and scope of the system, and the quality of the images produced.  All of the work was carried out to plan and the system was installed with the minimum of disruption to the department.”
