King’s College Hospital expands ultrasound capabilities with RS85 Prestige

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London, has strengthened its imaging capabilities with the installation of a Samsung RS85 Prestige ultrasound system, supplied by MIS Healthcare. This addition is part of the hospital’s continued investment in advanced imaging solutions.

Consultant interventional radiologist Dr Gibran Timothy Yusuf commented: “We are excited to have the Samsung RS85 Prestige machine in the department. This powerful equipment is capable of delivering high quality imaging and advanced diagnostic capabilities by combining cutting-edge technologies such as S-Shearwave Imaging and Crystal Architecture to ensure exceptional tissue clarity in complex cases. These capabilities ensure faster, more confident clinical decisions, contributing to improved quality of care and enhanced patient experiences.”

The RS85 Prestige is known for its superior image resolution, advanced features and ergonomic design. With innovative tools such as S-Shearwave, MV-Flow and ShadowHDR, the system enables clinicians to visualise diagnostic information in real time.

The installation builds on a growing relationship between MIS and the trust, underpinned by clinical applications support and a shared commitment to delivering the best care to patients.
