King’s hosts 20th contrast enhanced US workshop

Delegates and faculty gather at the King’s College Hospital contrast enhanced ultrasound workshop.
Bracco UK continues to work in partnership with King’s College Hospital, London, to host a series of one-day contrast ultrasound workshops. Professor Paul Sidhu and his team have combined a mix of lectures and live patient cases to demonstrate the ease, simplicity and practicality of using contrast agents in routine ultrasound practice.
With the recently issued NICE guidelines on the use of ultrasound contrast agents, more departments are incorporating microbubbles into their ultrasound lists for a variety of imaging applications. Whilst this modality is gaining momentum, these workshops provide an opportunity to observe how contrast media is being used in ultrasound imaging on a practical level.
