The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn has replaced two ten-year old CT scanners with Aquilion Prime 160-slice CT systems from Toshiba Medical.

CT/MRI radiographer Norma Watkins said: “We were impressed by the fast scanning and reduction in radiation dose.  The scanners are compact, offering clinical flexibility and good patient comfort.

“Streamlined workflow and easy patient set-up enable us to provide an efficient service.  In addition, we found working with Toshiba proved to be a positive experience; the installation was completed on time and the applications training was very comprehensive.”
