Wardray Premise has launched a new MRI adjustable height patient trolley, with a special offer available until the end of March.
The MR5502 features improvements over Wardray’s current patient trolley for MRI facilities, the MR5501. Its weight capacity is increased to 300kg to accommodate a range of patients. Twin wheeled castors and adjustable push handles enhance its manoeuvrability, while a foot operated brake bar, at both ends of the trolley, ensure efficient central and directional locking operations. There is no Velcro on the mattress to facilitate improved cleaning standards.
The MR5502 trolley is an addition to Wardray’s range of MRI conditional to 7.0T transport devices and is suitable for all MRI facilities. It is designed and made in the UK and, as part of its development, the trolley was put through its paces by staff at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. Feedback from the MRI department praised the trolley’s sturdier base for ease of steering, more robust side rails that do not require levers or pull handles, while maintaining the expected level of patient comfort. “Portering staff could only speak highly of the product, which is praise indeed,” adds Wardray.
Demonstrations of the trolley are available and, until March 31, the MR5502 is available at the same price as the MR5501 trolley.
Wardray Premise has been manufacturing class I medical devices for more than 15 years, working to ISO13485 manufacturing standards to offer quality solutions built to last.
