Leicester diverts jaw and face work to CBCT

A Carestream CS 9300 cone beam CT has been installed at Leicester Royal Infirmary as a part of its multiLIFE contract with Asteral.
Superintendent radiographer Colin Ross said: “By diverting our current jaw and face CT work to cone beam CT, we can free up the equivalent of 26 days per year of scarce CT scanning time, allowing our conventional CT scanners to reduce waits for patients from the emergency department and wards.”
