London Bridge benefits from improved visualisation

At London Bridge Hospital are angiography superintendent radiographer Donna Page, Siemens Healthcare regional sales manager Malcolm Pickering, angiography manager Audrey Kerr and imaging manager Joe Cornall.

London Bridge Hospital, part of HCA International, has installed two Artis zee ceiling-mounted imaging systems from Siemens Healthcare. 

The ceiling configuration with large flat detector is suited to interventional procedures, with high contrast resolution to improve accuracy in image guided procedures at a low dose.

One system is located in a new hybrid cath lab for examinations that were previously referred to surgery.  Both systems are supporting a range of imaging procedures including electrophysiology, coronary ablation, coronary intervention, interventional radiology and EVAR.
