Luton and Dunstable chooses GE ultrasound

At the handover of four GE Healthcare ultrasound systems to Luton and Dunstable Hospital are imaging assistant Tracey Williams, superintendent sonographer Simon Nicholson, GE Healthcare ultrasound sales specialist Jody Welton and sonographers Victoria Chow and Mandy Houghton.

Two Logiq S8s are for the breast screening centre, one with elastography capability, another is for radiology and a Voluson E8 Expert is for fetal medicine.

Nicholson said: “We chose the Logiq S8 for its high image quality in a wide range of applications including breast, MSK, small parts, paediatrics, abdominal, gynaecologic and vascular, complemented by its small size, low weight and good operator ergonomics.”
