Mammo system offers more comfortable patient experience

The Nuffield Group has invested further in Fujifilm equipment with the installation of its full field digital mammography system, the Amulet Innovality, at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital.
Amulet Innovality combines hexagonal close pattern image capture technology with intelligent image processing, optimising contrast and dose based on breast density. It is tomosynthesis ready, with selectable standard and high resolution scanning, and is said to provide an efficient upgrade path for future requirements.
Deputy radiology manager Fatima Carvalho said the system provides: “Much better image quality, with great contrast on the images. Patients have said how comfortable they feel during examinations.”
