Manchester Royal adds second reliable ultrasound

Manchester Royal Infirmary’s ultrasound department has installed an additional Hitachi Hi Vision Ascendus ultrasound platform equipped with contrast harmonic imaging and shear wave elastography to complement an existing Hitachi system. Probe compatibility between equipment extends the functionality and cost-effectiveness of the purchase, ensuring MSK, gynaecology, liver and general medicine ultrasound applications are all met.
