Mater Hospital adds system for specimen assessment within the procedure room
Hospital Services Limited (HSL) has installed a Hologic Trident HD specimen radiography system at Mater Hospital, Belfast. The Trident HD provides high resolution imaging of breast biopsy and excision specimens directly within the procedure room, enabling rapid and accurate specimen assessment. This advanced technology supports clinical teams by streamlining workflow and helping to optimise patient care through timely image acquisition and review.
As part of the project, HSL managed the delivery and installation of the system and will continue to provide ongoing technical support and service to ensure the equipment delivers reliable performance for years to come.
