Medica sponsors Hastings charity event
Medica sponsored this year’s Keith Chandler 5 Mile Memorial Road Race, which was held in Hastings in June in support of its corporate charity partner St Michael’s Hospice. The annual event, organised by Hastings Runners, has raised £72,000 for the hospice since its inception 18 years ago.
Medica colleagues Jenna Thompsett, Hayley Ranson, Dave Ramshaw, Kirsty Brookes, Shae Jones and Jake Beech took part in the race, which brought together runners, supporters and fund-raisers in a display of community spirit.
“Everyone involved thoroughly enjoyed the event,” said Medica. “There was a clear display of dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to this cause. The Keith Chandler Memorial Race remains a prominent event in the local calendar, symbolising remembrance, unity and the spirit of giving back.”
