Medica to share its vision of market-leading telemedicine

Medica is preparing to make an impact at this years’ UKIO focusing on innovation, technology and service delivery. It will deliver a presentation on the subject of ‘Tackling acute imaging workloads with (tele)radiology AI’, demonstrating its commitment to harnessing technological advances in imaging. Celebrating 20 years since it began in 2004, Medica says it has evolved to become an innovative, dynamic and progressive telemedicine company.

At Medica, the infrastructure team is in the process of rolling out MedConnect, a new platform integrating direct RIS, HL7, and portal-driven workflows. This innovation streamlines workflow, ensuring high quality reporting, where the reporter has access to the full patient history with a single log-in.

Looking ahead, Medica will soon launch Teleradiology+, a human-led, flexible, fully funded solution designed to transform workflows and optimise resources in radiology departments. The service is built to align with Medica’s vision to provide healthcare organisations with market-leading diagnostic and telemedicine services by uniting healthcare professionals and organisations with talent, innovation, and technology.

Medica works with over 50 per cent of NHS trusts and continues to adapt its offering to deliver sustainable and scalable services. It also has an educational offering through recent acquisition of JCA Seminars.
