MES provides refreshed fluoro at Russells Hall

News

A Managed Equipment Service at Russells Hall Hospital, part of the Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the West Midlands, enabled the completion of a new fluoroscopy room featuring an Axiom Luminos TF system from Siemens Healthcare.

It is being used for general and gastrointestinal procedures.  A second room, which houses an Axiom Iconos R200 fluoroscopy system, came into use earlier this year.

The trust is in its ninth year of an MES partnership with Siemens Healthcare.  The vendor independent contract looks after the maintenance, supply and ongoing replacement of all imaging equipment until 2041.

Smooth installation, training of hospital staff, technical support and construction of the new buildings to house the equipment were all assisted by the partnership.  This enabled the Trust to gain rapid access to the latest technology without compromising on patient care.
