Galway University Hospitals, Ireland, has purchased a BV Pulsera mobile C-arm via the National Procurement Framework, to be located at Merlin Park University Hospital.
Radiography services manager Susan Coyle said: “The Philips system, which replaced an existing one, was demonstrated to staff at the Merlin Park hospital. Radiographers at this site like the new equipment, particularly its ease-of-use and intuitive platform. The system will be deployed mainly for orthopaedic work and the Philips’ Pulsera will be an essential support in expanding this service at Galway University Hospitals.”
