Molecular RT and hybrid imaging are discussed at BNMS

The 46th annual spring meeting of the British Nuclear Medicine Society took place on April 14-16 at the ICC in Birmingham.  The first morning kicked off with a boot camp session with lectures on ‘EANM/SNMMI guideline for 18F-FDG use in inflammation and infection’ given by incoming president of the BNMS Dr John Buscombe.  Other lectures included ‘PET imaging in heart sarcoidosis’ and ‘Imaging of musculoskeletal infection’.

Outgoing BNMS president Professor Sobhan Vinjamuri opened the commercial exhibition on the evening of the first day.  BNMS ceo Charlotte Weston, administrator Caroline Oxley and finance administrator Elena Gilbert cut a cake celebrating the publication of the BNMS Springer book PET/CT in Lung Cancer.
