AXREM member runs 50km for children’s charity

AXREM is backing the fund-raising efforts of affiliate member Aidan Pearce, who is lacing up his running shoes for a cause close to his heart. To mark his 50th birthday, the founder and principal recruiter at Ellew Headhunters has signed up for the Run to the Sea ultramarathon on October 4, a challenging 50km event starting at Moors Valley Country Park in Dorset and finishing at Hengistbury Head in Bournemouth.
Pearce said: “I wanted to do something meaningful to celebrate turning 50. It felt like a missed opportunity not to raise money for charity, and since I was keen to support a children’s charity, AXREM’s partnership with Action for Children was the perfect fit.”
AXREM CEO Sally Edgington added: “We’re incredibly proud of Aidan’s dedication and heart. His decision to turn a personal milestone into a moment of collective impact is a fabulous example of how our members live our values.”
Supporters can contribute to the fund-raising efforts via the AXREM charity of the year page on the JustGiving website.
