MRI install meets high demand for complex procedures at Torbay

Torbay Hospital, part of Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, is now delivering a dedicated cardiac MRI service with the help of technology from Siemens Healthcare.
“Being able to deliver a cardiac MRI service was identified as a top priority and was core to our selection of the Magnetom Aera,” said superintendent radiographer Simon Smith. “Previously there were instances where patients in the region were experiencing long waits and travelling long distances.”
