MSK course reinforces theory with training

TICCS Ultrasound office and training manager Natasha Mahay welcomes delegates.
In May, representatives from independent accredited provider of ultrasound services TICCS Ultrasound and the University of Essex School of Health and Human Sciences, welcomed a number of highly experienced sonographers onto a course for the postgraduate certificate musculoskeletal assessment imaging.
The first module at St John’s Hotel, Solihull, produced a welcoming setting for all concerned, allowing the sonographers to concentrate on the practical and theory based training course being delivered by representatives from the University of Essex.
TICCS Ultrasound managing director Jon Leonard was pleased with how the weekend progressed as he felt the course met a recognised need: “We are providing advanced training for our sonographers to address the shortage of training across the NHS, which is especially true in the area of musculoskeletal ultrasound.”
