Naas General opens its first MRI suite
At Naas General Hospital are Siemens customer service account manager Derek Cowan, senior radiographer Cyrille Bol, consultant radiologist/clinical director Dr Catherine Collum, consultant radiologists Dr Ghassan Elagha and Dr Sean McKenna, superintendent radiographer Noeleen Kelly-Murphy, radiography services manager Lisa Hanrahan and Siemens regional account manager Patrick Doherty.
Naas General Hospital, Kildare, has installed its first MRI system, a Magnetom Essenza from Siemens Healthcare in Ireland. The 1.5T MRI system will be used for procedures including oncology, neurology and musculoskeletal imaging.
“The installation has greatly enhanced the radiology service provided and is welcomed by both staff and patients,” said radiology services manager Lisa Hanrahan.
