Nevill Hall’s portable ultrasound choice

Emergency medicine consultant Dr Kate Wright uses Fujifilm’s Fazone CB.

Fujifilm has delivered a Fazone to the A&E department at Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Neville Hall’s A&E department is a designated major trauma centre, with a throughput of 50,000 patients a year.  It covers minor injuries, acute services and trauma and was looking for a dedicated portable ultrasound system to assist with the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Emergency medicine consultant Dr Kate Wright said: “Following evaluation, our decision  was based on four key factors, namely image quality, ease of use, durability and value for money.”
