New technology aids workflow

Sloane Diagnostic Imaging is an Alliance Medical run multi-modality imaging centre based at BMI The Sloane Hospital in Beckenham, Kent.  The centre has recently upgraded its mammography equipment, installing a Hologic Selenia Dimensions 3D Mammography system.

Unit manager Joanne de Charmoy said: “The system is intuitive and easy to use and the ergonomic design allows for more comfortable positioning of our patients.  The team from Hologic was very easy to work with; the installation was managed exceptionally well and was completed on schedule.  We are very pleased to offer the best in breast imaging, for symptomatic and screening patients.”
