New ultrasound equipment at Glasgow Caledonian University

Glasgow Caledonian University’s ultrasound team has purchased a state-of-the-art GE Healthcare Logiq S8 ultrasound system, following a successful bid led by senior lecturer in diagnostic imaging Lynn Cuthbertson and psychology, social work and allied health department head Dr Helen Gallagher.
The system is said to offer excellent image quality through a wide range of applications and will be used in teaching and research activities by a multidisciplinary professional group. Advanced systems operations include elastography and 3D/4D imaging, and the system will support the expansion of ultrasound learning, teaching and research at GCU.
