Newcastle Dental Hospital embraces latest ultrasound

Newcastle’s Dental Hospital is a major centre of specialist dental services for the northern region, treating adults and children referred for expert dental care and advice.
Dr Macleod said: “The ability to undertake state-of-the-art ultrasound images of the head and neck is something we have dreamed of. This facility may enhance our ability for accurate assessment of salivary glands and adjacent anatomy. In addition, it will help put us in a position to be at the forefront of research in the field.”
