NHFD reveals improvements in service at St Mary’s

St Mary’s Hospital on the Isle of Wight says it has demonstrated significant improvement in its services to elderly patients in the trauma and orthopaedic department, according to the government’s National Hip Fracture Database (NHFD).

To help efficiency in these departments, a MobileDaRt Evolution Wireless direct digital motorised mobile x-ray unit was purchased from UK medical equipment supplier Xograph Healthcare.

Superintendent radiographer Amanda Shaw said: “We are extremely satisfied with the image quality of the MobileDaRt and we are so pleased with the flexibility and efficiency of Xograph Healthcare.”
