NHS England and CIMAR work together to deploy AI pilot for medical imaging

CIMAR has joined forces with faculty and Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the AI Deployment Platform Pilot. This collaboration, working with NHS England, aims to streamline the deployment of AI in medical imaging across the NHS.

The company’s expertise in interoperability and integration has already made a significant impact on some of the UK’s largest mobile health screening workflows, including Public Health England’s Targeted Lung Health Check and regional breast screening services.

CIMAR ceo Howard Jenkinson commented, “CIMAR is delighted to provide our cloud-based, vendor-neutral AI deployment platform for this pilot. Allowing for the assessment of wider deployment and use of diagnostic AI for imaging, we hope this will be an important advance for our National Health Service.”

Designed with a cloud-native approach, CIMAR’s intelligent image management and exchange platform is well suited to navigate the digital healthcare landscape. The company strives to deliver solutions that significantly increase efficiencies for hospitals, community diagnostic centres, NHS trusts, and regions, ultimately freeing up clinical staff to focus providing quality patient care.

Our agnostic AI delivery platform creates an easily connectable, secure, single interface to many safe, mature and monitored AI technologies,” added cto Oliver Scott. “It further simplifies scaled-up deployment for AI technology vendors and ensures that each technology performs equally across the NHS.”
