North Bristol completes successful weekend PACS upgrade

North Bristol Trust has completed its latest upgrade of Fujifilm’s Synapse PACS. Following installation in 2014, the trust has had the annual upgrades that Fujifilm provides to customers as an integral part of the service agreement. Upgrades are completed with virtually zero down-time during weekends.
PACS manager Sue Miller said: “The upgrades are a great asset to our PACS operations. They are completed with no disruption because of the preparation and planning undertaken by Fujifilm and the trust, and the staff are always friendly and efficient. The advantages of a constantly improving PACS are enjoyed by the whole team, and in fact this last one went so smoothly we didn’t even notice the transition.”
