Nottingham research gamma camera

A Mediso X-ring gamma camera supplied by Bartec Technologies has been purchased by Nottingham University to upgrade the joint Nottingham University Hospitals Trust and Nottingham University research unit in NM at Queen’s Medical Centre.

 

The unit specialises in the use of nuclear medicine techniques for imaging drug delivery, formulation release and biodistribution. Studies undertaken include tablet swallowing, GI dispersion and colonic targeted release, as well as monitoring drug delivery by nasal, pulmonary, ophthalmic and IV routes.
