Nucletron joins College of Radiographers scheme

Nucletron sales manager Alex Kypriotis and managing director Mark Hitchman with the Society of Radiographers ceo Richard Evans and a Nucletron customer, Margaret Bidmead, head of physics at The Royal Marsden Hospital.

Nucletron, a leader in providing brachytherapy and external beam planning systems, has become a member of the College of Radiographers’ Industry Partnership Scheme.

Nucletron will provide financial support for radiographer-led research and education projects, and will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the society, its members and other industry partners.  

Mark Hitchman, managing director of Nucletron, UK and Ireland, commented: “We’re delighted to support the scheme and to be part of the CPD Now Accreditation to endorse the courses that we run for our customers.  The scheme also gives us the opportunity to support important radiography research.”

Since its launch in 2007, the scheme has funded nearly 20 pieces of research.
