Nuffield Grosvenor improves patient journey with mobile

Nuffield Health’s Grosvenor Hospital in Chester has found a mobile that does exactly what the imaging department needed with the acquisition of a Fujifilm FDR nano. “We wanted a digital mobile to improve the service we were giving, particularly for post-operative x-rays,” said radiology manager Adele Maddison. “The FDR nano has helped us do just that – it has made the patient journey so much better as we are now imaging most patients in recovery before they are taken to the ward.” Maddison also reported that an improvement in image quality has been seen.
“The FDR nano is so small and manoeuvrable that you can take it anywhere,” she added. “The team here love it and find it very easy to use as it’s so compact and simple, and they especially like the touch screen. I have used Fujifilm products for many years and was delighted with the new mobile – it just ticked all the boxes for me and my team.”
