Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital has purchased a Philips DigitalDiagnost value system with integrated CR, together with a BV Endura mobile x-ray unit.

Equipped with a SkyPlate detector, the DigitalDiagnost value room offers entry into premium digital radiography, providing a wide variety of radiography applications and procedures with a one detector set-up, including Unique image processing and premium Eleva user interface.

Hospital director Karen Pattison said: “The improvements to our radiology department are part of Nuffield Health’s £1.7 million investment programme, enabling Nuffield Wolverhampton to develop services and improve the environment so that we can better meet the needs of our patients.  Digital technology in the x-ray room allows us to offer a better service for patients and consultants, while the BV Endura provides flexibility in an ever-changing healthcare environment.”
