Olympian opens Stoke Mandeville’s CT scanner

Stoke Mandeville Hospital, part of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, has replaced an existing 16-slice scanner with Toshiba Medical System’s Next Generation Aquilion One CT system.  Six-time Olympian and Gold Medal winner Tessa Sanderson CBE performed the opening ceremony.

The new equipment means that people in Buckinghamshire who would previously have had to travel out of the county for this kind of CT imaging can now come straight to Stoke Mandeville.
