PACSHealth’s data management offerings attract interest at ECR

Following a successful visit to the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna, Austria, the PACSHealth team has been in discussions with customers and distributors. With continuing interest in the PACSHealth and DoseMonitor products, there was also strong interest in the VNAHealth and DICOMeXtreme router products.
“Conversations at the congress confirmed global challenges relating to data management, a desire to improve patient safety and the role VNAHealth plays as a tool to improve data quality,” the company comments. “VNAHealth automatically shows how data inconsistencies across any facility, enterprise, region or country place patients at risk due to incorrect data, excessive imaging and/or misdiagnosis and treatment because of data corruption within local and global environments.
“Confirming the validity of DICOM imaging studies as they move between any source and any destination combined with confirmation at the examination, series and patient meta-data level (per customer-defined rules), continuous data comparison fields enable real-time management to avoid clinical incidents as well as validation of any data migration,” PACSHealth says.
The VNAHealth dashboard enables PACS and healthcare IT administrators to understand the integrity of imaging studies between PACS and VNA subsystems and corrective processes to be triaged according to risk analysis.
