Philips supplies cath lab to Peterborough

With chief operating officer Rowena Barnes and Sister Melissa Fisher are Philips Healthcare personnel cardiovascular engineer Steve Woollard, CV modality sales specialist Ruth Turner and service delivery manager Iain Sims, procurement and commercial divisional manager David Brand, Philips Healthcare account manager imaging systems Paul Ringwald and consultant cardiologists Dr Jo Porter and Dr Dai Rowlands.

 

Philips Healthcare has supplied an Allura Xper FD10 ceiling-mounted cath lab system for the 612-bed PFI hospital on the outskirts of Peterborough.   Peterborough City Hospital opened its doors in November 2010.

 

Part of a large MES facility provided by Asteral, the equipment was purchased to develop cardiac services in the region.  The new system has reduced manual tasks and as a result has helped to deliver a more efficient workflow.
