Pinderfields achieving better than expected results

Pinderfields Hospital, part of Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, has installed a Philips Sparq ultrasound system for its coronary care unit.  Clinical physiology services manager (cardio-respiratory) Alison Carr said: “We already have one portable ultrasound machine but needed a second one, particularly for use on the cardiology wards.

“The Philips Sparq has exceeded our expectations – we are obtaining good quality images, better than expected from a mobile unit.”
