Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust has selected a range of CR and DR solutions from Agfa HealthCare.  Under the agreement, its CR 30-X and DX-G units have been installed in all of the trust’s radiology departments while four DR rooms are being installed in the Derriford Hospital A&E department.  Two of the rooms will have DX-D 300 DR units and the other two will be fitted with the DX-D 600 DR system.

Superintendent radiographer Jan Davies said: “This was an important imaging project for us.  Following the installations we saw immediate benefits, with the quality of the images and the ability to use CsI detectors to provide the potential for us to reduce patient dose.”
