Portsmouth Hospital equips CT rooms with injectors

Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth has now equipped all three of its CT rooms with Ulrich CT Motion contrast injectors from Synapse Medical.

“The first injector was installed in January 2016 and the benefits in terms of cost savings and operational efficiency were immediate,” said CT and MR lead Nicky Wragg.  “It’s taken a little longer than expected but installing the additional CT Motions in our remaining CT scanning rooms will potentially generate further cost savings and efficiency benefits, with minimal interruption to our service, given staff familiarity with the injector.”
