Positive patient feedback for new gamma camera

Newham University Hospital NHS Trust has installed a Symbia S dual-head SPECT system from Siemens Healthcare to enable rapid diagnosis of disease states.

 

State-of-the-art image quality is combined with workflow automation so that the department can handle high patient throughput.  The system is equipped with a high definition detector, providing a faster scan acquisition time with improved contrast resolution and lesion detection.
