Power assist smooths the x-ray flow at ULHT

United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust (ULHT) returned to Fujifilm to meet its latest x-ray needs. The company supplied its new FDR Visionary Suite with power assist that has made life a little easier for radiographers.

ULHT has already received several Fujifilm systems and chose to continue working with the company due to its responsiveness and ability to meet the demands of a modern hospital.

Realising the issues that radiographers can have with standard x-ray rooms, Fujifilm and ULHT chose to implement FDR Visionary Suite with its new power assist function. This allows quick, easy and efficient movement around the room to ensure that radiographers can capture images conveniently.

Clark said: “Having recently returned to work following a shoulder surgery, I have found the power assist on the Fujifilm equipment has made my clinical practice so much easier. I can perform examinations with ease, which I would not have been able to do without this function – the power assist is an excellent addition to a very good system.”

The system offers ULHT an uptime of 99.8 per cent, helping to increase throughput and address elective backlogs. The trust also received a C-arm from Fujifilm, the FDX Visionary-C. Having used it extensively, it reports that the equipment is intuitive to operate and very user friendly while offering excellent value for money.
Modality lead radiographer inter-ventional and general x-ray Mark Dorn said: “Fujifilm continues to expand its portfolio without compromising on service and still maintain that personal touch.”
