Princess Alexandra Hospital manages waiting times with pair of Philips CT systems

Philips CT install

A pair of Philips Incisive CT 5300 systems have been installed at The Princess Alexandra Hospital Community Diagnostic Centre in Epping.

The scanners support a busy service performing around 30 scans a day on each system across a wide range of examinations. For the team, a key driver for the investment was reducing waiting times while providing an easy-to-use platform for staff. Following installation, waiting lists have become more manageable, helping the department improve access to diagnostic imaging for patients.

CT modality lead Ben Rikhotso commented: “The platform is easy to operate and the aftercare post installation has been very good. Waiting times were our biggest challenge and they are now much more manageable.”
