ProSound Alpha 6 for Basildon University Hospital

Basildon University Hospital has upgraded its maternity department with a Hitachi Aloka ProSound Alpha 6 ultrasound system for dedicated obstetrics and gynaecology.
Part of the ProSound range, the system’s height adjustable operation and large swivel LCD monitor in a compact, lightweight design made it the system of choice for the busy department. Superintendant sonographer Fiona Benwell said: “The excellent image quality combined with the improved ergonomics, a horizontal TV probe holder and its ease of use all played a key role in our selection decision.”
