Alliance Medical Ireland was a joint recipient of the CHKS quality improvement award 2014 at a ceremony in London. Alliance Medical employs 120 staff in Ireland and provides diagnostic imaging services including MRI, CT, PETCT, x-ray and ultrasound.
The award was open to all healthcare organisations accredited by CHKS in 2013. It recognises significant improvements in patient care and patient experience as well as staff welfare, safety and morale.
Alliance Medical Ireland md Malcolm Banks said: “What this essentially says is that we deliver diagnostic imaging series to the best international standard. For our patients this award gives absolute assurance that when they are undergoing diagnostic imaging tests, they are getting the best possible service and care. It is also an important validation for our referrers who are reassured by a fully independent accrediting body.”
